If you are about to drive a car, I suggest that you be really careful. Otherwise, you may crash onto other vehicles or even crash into something more likely, such as a pond. To be honest, this is just what happens to this Croatian man in particular and his supercar, which happens to be a Ferrari F430 Spider.
The unfortunate incident took place just last Wednesday, December 10, 2014, in Austria, during the night. Owner of the vehicle, a 36-year-old Croatian man, somehow happened to lose control of the steering wheel. As a result, the car ventured off the road. Unfortunately, there was a slope by the side of the road and the man’s ride happened to travel for as far as seventy miles down the slope. Fortunately, the car eventually came to a halt, albeit in a pond with a depth of two meters.Amazingly enough, the driver survived the incident with minor injuries. He was able to get out of the car all by himself and he could even reach a house not far from the crash scene. In that house, the man then called for the police as well as other emergency services to arrive at the scene.
It must have been a good thing for the Croatian man to see how the firefighters on site were able to retrieve his Italian supercar from the pond. The car did not even seem to suffer from visual damages. However, this does not necessarily mean that the car will function perfectly fine like before. Instead, it seems that the car will actually never be able to run anymore. Moreover, when it entered the pond, the Italian prancing horse had its roof down, so water must have entered through all the car components, including the electronic parts.
Well, it seems that this will be a very expensive and valuable lesson for the car owner. The Ferrari F430 was only produced from the year 2004 to 2009 so there is no way the Croatian man can get his hands on a brand new F430, either Coupe or Spider.
