The 2015 Seoul Motor Show is currently taking place and one automaker from the South Korea, Hyundai, has decided that it is time to present its latest Endure crossover utility vehicle, or what is known as the CUV for short.
The car sports a visual design which, Hyundai claims, is the result of combination between the design of a rally motorcycle and that of a typical SUV model. Hyundai mentions that the car is more designated towards those who reside in busy and large urban areas. The car can be seen sporting massive plastic body cladding which makes it look somewhat like a bug with a giant size.
The suspension of the vehicle has also been tweaked, which is very likely to enhance comfort. In addition to the tweaked suspension, the car can also be seen coming with LED lighting clusters whereas its side skirts are decorated with step bars for the sake of easy loading and unloading of the roof rack. On the lower section, the car features a dark gray garnish hue whereas its C-pillar has been well equipped with a specially designed air blade for the purpose of minimizing the car’s drag coefficient value.
As for the interior, it has yet to be revealed. Yet, Hyundai claims that it will benefit from both vertically and horizontally designed elements for the center console and dashboard. Also, to reduce driver’s distractions, its instrument panel comes with a built-in display.
Under the hood, the Hyundai HND-12 Enduro concept car hides a 2.0L turbocharged engine that is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) system. Unfortunately, for anyone keen on buying this vehicle model, they had better stop holding their breath as Hyundai has not mentioned even a single word about this car going into the production phase.
