Idries Noah’s T2 Concept can deliver E55 AMG performance

by Alex

Idries Noah, well the name speaks for itself. Graphic artist and automotive honcho Noah is back with a bang with the brand new T2 concept car. The car is tipped to be a hybrid electric set of wheels. The designer from South Africa is well known for his previous renditions of the Audi R8 rival BMW M Sports Coupe and Dodge Viper car Project Fireblade. Noah has visualized the concept car to be the fastest environment friendly car on the planet.

Noah can boast of the car for its mere originality. The car does not look similar in any way to some labeled cars, neither is any part of the car copied from any other source. The lethal combination of sharp corners and harsh curves makes the design of the car extremely adorable.

The car draws its power from a 3.5-litre V6 engine coupled with two electric motors which produces a calculated power of 469 hp (350 kw). According to calculations made by Noah on the concept car, it can accelerate from rest to a speed of 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in the short span of just 4 seconds. It’s quite identically similar to the time that W211 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG delivers. It is quite an amazing figure for an environment friendly car. Let’s see how much of it is turned into reality though.

Though its very early to speak of just the design of the ‘virtual car’ and its probable performances, the car is making quite a buzz in the automobile world and the concept coming from someone none other than Idries Noah, the car looks high on prospect.
