For those of you who may not know just yet, the Chicago Auto Show is going to open its doors to the public next month. Of course, as in the case of other big automotive exhibition events out there, the Chicago Auto Show is also bound to feature a decent number of vehicles for the public to witness and experience first-hand. One of the vehicles that will be making appearance in the event is a new concept vehicle from the South Korean automaker, KIA.
The South Korean company has officially announced its plan to bring a new concept to the event, but it has managed to keep the technical specifications of the car a secret. The company only hints that the concept vehicle it will be unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show will be a reimagining of one of the bestselling vehicle models from the company. It describes that the car is designated for city dwellers that are in the search for an adventurous getaway. In addition to that, KIA also claims that the car will be a solid proof that a practical urban vehicle, too, can actually be both capable and rugged.
Well, honestly speaking, that is not too much of information to digest. However, if the recent speculations swirling around the World Wide Web pages are to be believed, this can potentially mean that the new concept vehicle from the South Korean automaker will be the KIA Soul. However, the car may get its inspiration from an off-road vehicle. Nonetheless, regardless of what KIA is actually going to show at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show event, we can all expect more information to be available tomorrow. At least, that is what has been reported by the Autoblog and KIA itself.
