South Korea’s Kia Motors is searching place in India for their car making and they finalize Andhra Pradesh State for its first factory in India. They are the world’s 5th biggest car makers, who are pursuing new business after they are missed their target for the past two years. Now they have their worries about their sales in US which is one of their biggest market and could have the chance to change by the protectionist trade policies under President Donald Trump.

Kia is trying to become world’s largest car makers by 2020. And this month they are choosing a site in Andhra Pradesh for its factory and the state had offered them 600 acres of land for the automaker. The second source states they are going to pick Andhra Pradesh for their for their factory site. The sources are not ready to share the name of the district with the media.

Kia aims to product sport utility vehicles and small sedans from that plant from July 2019. At times the plan may change. On other hand, the CEO of Kia Motors, Park Han-Woo said that they are searching for a site for their automakers in India. They didn’t give any clue or details about the location for their plant. They are doing their preparation and they can start their factory at anytime.

They are going to compete with Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Honda Motors and Tata Motors. They are not likely to miss the Indian market where they can have more potential for their success.
