There have been words that the luxury British automaker, Land Rover, is cooking up a completely new Range Rover model which has never been seen before. According to the Motoring media from the Australian continent, the car will most likely make its debut before this decade comes to an end.
The aforementioned Australian media believes that the luxury British automotive marquee sees a huge gap between the company’s Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque vehicle lineups. As such, the company thinks that it is only appropriate to build yet another model that will fit into the gap in question. It is believed that the new vehicle is going to take advantage of the platform that the British company uses on the Range Rover Evoque as well. However, this upcoming vehicle model from Land Rover will not be just another vehicle model but one that is dedicated to those loyal fans of the British brand.
The new vehicle will be coming with a body that has a larger size when compared to the company’s Evoque model, although not as big as the Range Rover Sport. The upcoming vehicle model will also sport five seats altogether for the comfort of a family.
Gerry McGovern, the person in charge of designing vehicles at Land Rover, has also unveiled during the New York Auto Show event this year that there are ‘white space’ opportunities available when it comes to the vehicle lineups developed by the luxury British automaker. Well, if that is not enough, McGovern has even gone as far as to mention that the British marquee will be announcing a new vehicle model at the upcoming auto expo in Frankfurt September this year. The identity of that vehicle remains a mystery so far. It could end up as the Range Rover Evoque Cabrio, Range Rover Discovery Sport or even the new vehicle that the company is cooking up at the moment.
