Following its recent debut at the 84th Geneva Motor Show in Swiss, McLaren has now shown off the 650S Spider at the Need for Speed gala in Hong Kong.
While the movie has been getting terrible reviews and has not been appreciated for almost anything, the 650S Spider should be in a better position as it has an attractive exterior that draws cues from the P1.
The model comes fitted with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine generating an output of 650 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. It is further mated to a seven-speed SSG transmission which enables the 3020 lb (1370 kg) roadster to be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 3 seconds, while 0-200 kmph (0-124 mph) sprint can be completed in 8.6 seconds. The model comes with a top speed of 329 kmph (204 mph).
We can only hope that the model does better and gets good reviews as it really looks pretty cool from the images that can be seen of the model revealed here in HK.
