The Japanese automaker, Mitsubishi Motors, has just given out a pair of images that teases its new concept vehicle. It is reported that the new concept vehicle from the Japanese company will make its debut this oncoming March, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show event. Unfortunately, Mitsubishi is not quite keen just yet on revealing too much when it comes to what kind of spec sheets that the car will be coming with.
Nonetheless, the Japanese company does unveil that its upcoming concept vehicle model will actually preview the next generation version of the company’s 2WD plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), combined with what the company claims to be a bold renaissance in terms of design language. In addition to that, the company also refers to the car as a smart combination of the elements of fluency, engineering, dynamic agility, low environmental impact, athletic design and an electric motor with a high performance.
For those who manage to recall correctly, some time back in November last year, the Japanese car manufacturer actually showed off a concept vehicle it dubbed the Concept XR-PHEV. This particular concept vehicle was shown off during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show event. Well, if you pay close enough attention to the two teaser images that Mitsubishi has recently given out, there is in fact quite a good chance that the Japanese company’s upcoming vehicle will prove to be an update of the Concept XR-PHEV that it previewed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. To be honest, however, if this is the case, it seems that the Japanese company has taken too long to build such a model, It’s been almost two years now since the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show event opened its doors to the public.
