by SpeedLux

Yet another world record broken and created in the auto industry! The tire manufacturer from Finland, Nokian, has recently made the announcement of creating a new world record for speed and that too on ice!

German specialist tuner MTM’s tuned Audi RS6 alongwith the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 studded tires have created a new world speed record on ice at 335.713 kmph. This feat was achieved by Audi RS6 on March 9, 2013. The record was created on a 7.5 mile track created on the ice of the Gulf of Bothnia and is located near Oulu in Finland.

This is quite an impressive record to set and the team of MTM and Nokian would be quite exited and thrilled to create such a record and that too on ice!
