The automaker Opel has decided to unleash its latest creation, the Corsa 1.4 LPG. As its name implies, the car features a factory LPG system. According to the claim made by the aforementioned automaker, this new vehicle it is introducing is a clean vehicle. As a matter of fact, Opel is even referring to the model as the ‘Mr. Clean’.
Speaking of this vehicle model in particular, the car will be counting on a 1.4L engine for the sake of its mobility. Opel is also going to pair this engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox, resulting in a total power output of 90 HP for the buyers of the vehicle model to enjoy. To make the car even more interesting, it consumes fuel in quite an efficient manner. To travel as far as one hundred kilometers, the car is going to need only 6.9 liters of fuel. Speaking of the fuel, the car, as its moniker says, consumes Liquefied Petroleum Gas. The car is also quite friendly to the environment, emitting only 113 grams of CO2 for every kilometer traveled. The German automaker in charge of the vehicle even goes as far as to claim that the car consumes fuel 50% more efficiently when compared to its petrol counterpart.
In case all those facts mentioned earlier are still not appealing enough to attract buyers, Opel also reveals that the Corsa LPG has been made ready for bi-fuel operation right out of the factory. This means that the driver will have the option to make a switch between petrol and LPG whenever the driver wishes to do so. All that the driver of the car will have to do in order to make the switch is simply to push a dedicated button inside the cabin, a button that has control over the newly developed module. It is also said that on a single refuel, either using petrol or LPG, the car should be able to reach a distance of at least 1,200 km.
