Rolls Royce is one such car which is uncommon among masses but every car lover would like to have in spite of not very good performance in speed department. But how would it be if it gets the speed also in it – now that is a deadly combo.
One of the Rolls Royce owners wanted just that and so he came to Viper Specialty Performance, the New York based tuner, to install a Viper engine in his car of 1930s.
The tuner fitted 2004 Viper V10 engine in it. Some other modifications were done to suit the new engine which includes that on a tube frame chassis. The car’s engine and electric system runs off a Pectel engine management system and the final installation was done in West Michigan.
The reaction of this modification has been mixed where some people were of the opinion that the car should have retained its original feel and not tampered with; there are some who are pretty happy and surprised with the idea of installing a new engine.
The car will be open for public viewing at the upcoming Detroit Autorama in March 2013, have a look at photos.
