Porsche 918 Spyder & 911 50th Anniversary Edition headed to Pebble Beach

Porsche has recently announced its plans for the event of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance which will begin on August 14.

Firstly, the company has plans to launch the new 911 GT3 Cup that will compete in the United Sports Car Racing (USCR) series in the coming year. It will be shown alongside the 918 Spyder and the 911 50th Anniversary Edition.

Coming to the 911’s 50th anniversary, the company has decided to celebrate the occasion in style by showing the 911 GT3 and one the first 911s sold in the United States at the Quail Motorsports Gathering on August 16. If that was not enough, the company will also display their entire lineup that includes the new Panamera S E-Hybrid – at the Porsche Zentrum in nearby Carmel in California.

The vintage models such as the 1972 Martini 2.1 Turbo RSR, 1978 “Moby Dick” 935, 1978 “Baby” 935 and two 911 GT1s will also be on display during the event. The options sound pretty exciting and surely the company has made some great plans which will make the car lovers happy and they would love to see such awesome as well as vintage models.
