Last week only Porsche showed us the production-ready 918 Spyder at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany and now the configurator is also available online.
Porsche clearly stated that they have plans of making just 918 units of their new flagship model but most of them have already been accounted for and so we believe that the configurator was designed for the remaining units. By checking out the source link one can fiddle with the online configurator though it doesn’t provide details about the model pricing but we already know in the United States the base 918 Spyder starts off from 845,000 USD.
The 918 Spyder can be had in one of the twelve exterior paint schemes available, along with one of the three wheel designs and seven two-tone interior themes. There is nothing much in the exteriors, but interiors come with quite a few goodies that include a fire extinguisher (insert Ferrari joke here), six-point seatbelts and other bits and pieces.
Talking about the exteriors, one has an option to select the lift system front axle and a stone guard film which is applied on the more susceptible parts of the body for protection against paintwork damage.
