Porsche recently announced its newest version of their Boxster S which comes in Guards Red and Riviera Blue. The new Boxster S is powered by a 3.4 liter flat six engine with 315 (232 kW) and 360 Nm (265 Ib-ft) of torque. The Guards Red version is equipped with an automatic transmission which can reach 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just five seconds. On the other hand the Blue Riviera comes with a a six-speed manual transmission which should accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 279 km/h (173 mph).
Covered in black perforated leather, the seats are elegantly designed with the steering wheel decored by Alcantara leather. The car also comes with 5-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels for superior handling and brakes. The car also has brushed aluminum trim, embossed headrests and Silver Grey seat belts. Other highlights include aluminum pedals and illuminated door sill plates. Official production dates are not out yet neither are the prices, but from the looks of it we can expect a range between $65,000 to a loaded model above $150,000.
