Sales of heavy trucks increased in China in April

Sales of heavy trucks in China reached an all-time monthly high for the 13th consecutive month in April, industry data noted.

An estimated total of 200,000 heavy trucks were sold in April, showing an increase of 5 percent year on year.

The figure was 13 percent small than in March.

In the first four months of this year, heavy truck sales increased 57 percent year on year to over 730,000 units.

The annual sales of heavy trucks amounted to around 1.62 million units in 2020, increasing 38 percent from 2019, reaching a record high globally.
