Skoda has recently confirmed that a four-door coupe version of the Octavia and a crossover will be launched after the next-gen Fabia will be out.
As of now the details about the Octavia four-door coupe are limited but it will likely follow the same styling as the Volkswagen CC with a sloped roofline and will be more expensive than the regular Octavia. Talking about the crossover, design chief Josef Kaban said that it will be different compared to current Skoda models, just like the Yeti was but without being too faddish. He further said that it will be a more expensive car which will have to keep its design appeal for a few years since Skoda believes that customers will want to keep them for a longer period.
The next generation of the Skoda Fabia will go on sale in the year 2015 and will likely be previewed at 2014 Paris Motor Show. Skoda boss Winfried Vahland claimed that the new model will attract a younger customer base thanks to more connectivity features. The new Fabia will reportedly be around 50mm longer and in estate form it will have a slightly bigger trunk.
