Earlier it was said that Suzuki has managed to sell 3 million Swifts since 2004. Out of those, 80,000 of the superminis were sold in Britain where it was introduced in May of 2005.
Now, this time the company is introducing for their British customers another special edition. The Swift SZ-L is based on the mid-grade SZ3 but adds extra bit of kit, available from £10,599 for three door model and £11,016 for five door version.
To put this way, it’s a superficial package that adds a roof spoiler, 16-inch wheels, tinted rear glass, free metallic paint, and red stitching for the steering wheel and gearshift surround, plus cruise control.
The kit is available only with the 1.2-liter petrol. Standard kit from the SZ3 includes seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port and Bluetooth as standard.
Suzuki‘s earlier version of the Swift was an instant hit among its customers now this time is successor is likely to leave the same impact on the customers. Suzuki officials are tight lipped about this launch but hope that it would garner enough attention and would hit the magic sales figures within days of being launched.
