Tata Hexa SUV to get a six-speed automatic gearbox

The concept of Tata hexa was showcased at Geneva motor show. The crossover SUV concept is expected in the future showing identical stylish to Tata SUV. The Hexa will be powered the 2.2 liter Varicor diesel engine from the aria generating 154bhp and 40.8 kgm of torque mated to a choice of six speed manual or automatic transmission. Hexa is the first Tata production with a six speed manual and automatic transmission.

Being a give seeding both manual and automatic cars it receives high class. The head will also get a torque on demand four wheel drive system. A twin turbo version of the 2.2 liter engine generates around 175 bhp is expected to be in the offing.

The crossover SUV can measures in at 4764 mm long, 1895 mm wide and 1780 mm high. It has wheel base of 2,850 mm making it the longest in Tata’s SUV segment.
