Tuning firm Techart just announced that they are releasing performance kits for the engine of the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo. Techart is a respected tuning company especially with the magic they do with Porsche vehicles. The performance kits are tagged as TA 097/T1 and th TA 097/T2 promise excellent performance.
The TA 097/T1 boosts the car’s output by 70 horsepower from its standard of 500 hp. This figure can be achieved by tweaking the ECU and installation of the sport air filter from Techart. The 2010 911 Turbo can zoom from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds with the installation of the new kit and the top speed is pegged at 324 km/h.
The second offering, the TA 097/T2 gives the Porsche a whopping 630 horsepower and a peak torque of 820 Nm. Techart was able to achieve this using their custom manifolds, sport filter, and sport exhaust setup. Rushing from 0 to 100 km/h is very easy at 2.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 6.4 seconds. The 911 Turbo can achieve a top speed of 333 km/h with this Techart performance kit.
The standard Porsche 911 Turbo can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 312 km/h.
