The reinnovated TVR brand released a new teaser image of its 2017 sports car over Christmas, although has stated that the sketch is a reworked version of a rendering of the auto developed by Autocar, intended to provide deposit holders an idea of what the car will seem like rather than telling about any of its production information.
Earlier this year TVR officials stated that the firm has already sold out its allocation of selling cars for 2017, with the new company declaring that it has taken 250 deposits in just 6 weeks. This recent teaser image is suggested to have been sent out in order to give loyal purchasers an idea of the car’s looks.
TVR declared it was going back into creation in June this year, with Gordon Murray Design and Cosworth Engineering joining as major partners. The new firm begin taking deposits for the projected new sports car four weeks later having faced a high level of demand, despite there not yet being any official images or information of the new car.
Deposits are still being taken, although John Chasey, TVR’s operations director, stated that any orders now placed will not be completed until 2018.
