Uber stated on Thursday its self-driving test cars and trucks had departed from California to start testing in Arizona, after California revoked the registration of the automobiles, which it said did not have the proper licenses.

” Our cars departed for Arizona today by truck,” said an Uber representative. “We’ll be expanding our self-driving pilot there in the next few weeks.”

San Francisco was going to become Uber’s 2nd testing region for its self-driving cars and trucks after Pittsburgh, however right away after its December 14 launch it ended up being embroiled in a dispute with the California Department of Motor Vehicle, which needs a permit to test autonomous cars on public roads.
