Video: Jeremy Clarkson puts BMW M5 against Jaguar XFR

Top Gear wanted to see how does the new Jaguar XFR stack against the BMW M5 on the track and around the town.

Jeremy Clarkson who calls the M5 “the ultimate sports saloon” were the one to test the XFR. It was surprising to see how impressed Mr. Clarkson was with the new Jaguar.

Jaguar XFR: Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds.
BMW M5: Naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V10 engine produces 500 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.

Both cars have an electronically limited top speed at 155 mph (250 km/h) and a very similar weight.
