Volkswagen has recently introduced the Amarok Edition in the UK and it will be limited to just 300 units.
This special Amarok is based on the Trendline variant and comes with body-colored wheel arches and bumpers. It also comes with other distinguished features such as 18-inch Durban alloy wheels, black styling bars across the load area, black side step, special edition decals, rear privacy glass, front/rear parking sensors, interior floor mats, protective coating for the load area, along with five-inch touchscreen display featuring sat-nav and Bluetooth.
The model is powered by a 2.0-liter BiTDI engine capable of generating 180 HP (132 kW) and 420 Nm (319 lb-ft) of torque which will be enough for a maximum towing capacity of 3,200 kg (7,054 lbs). The engine can be connected to a six-speed manual gearbox with selectable 4MOTION or to an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox with permanent 4MOTION.
Customers can order the Volkswagen Amarok Edition with a choice of either a Deep Black (with silver door mirrors) paint or with a Reflex Silver (with black door mirror covers) hue.
Prices start from 22,495 GBP (excluding VAT) for the manual version and go up to 24,225 GBP (excluding VAT) for the automatic one.
