Volkswagen to introduce Luxury Sedan exclusively for China

As per the reports, Volkswagen is planning to release a luxury sedan in the upcoming year that will be commercialized and published exclusively in China. The model of this luxury sedan is predicted to be based on the best-selling luxury sedan in China, which was the long wheelbase locally-built Audi A6L. The price range of this car is not yet disclosed but is a point of curiosity.

This particular luxury-sedan model was initially designed in Europe; however, it will be built by the joint venture of Shanghai Volkswagen in China. Another range of the car introduced by Volkswagen in China is the Lamando, which will commence sales soon. Volkswagen is planning on selling around 50, 000 units of the luxury sedan annually as per a market introduction plan. With this deal, Volkswagen will be improving the value of its brand in the People’s Republic.

The sedan will be luxuriously equipped and is expected to raise the sale of this brand and create a stronger foothold.
