Time has come to pull out rug beneath the surface as Infiniti has announced plans to introduce the QX60 Hybrid at the New York Auto Show.
Previously being a crossover, the model carries an electric motor, a supercharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a lithium-ion battery and a continuously variable transmission. This allows the QX60 Hybrid to have an output of roughly 250 bhp (186 kW). Moreover, the crossover’s collective fuel economy rating is expected to increase to 26 mpg which is estimated to make it the most fuel-efficient passenger crossover in this class.
As a result of addition of hybrid technology, The company says there will be no letting up of performance, interior spaciousness and cargo space.
The model is likely to cost $3,000 more than a normally powered QX60 so the starting price would be around $44,250.
