2014 Toyota Corolla Altis Launching in India

by SpeedLux

The Delhi Auto Expo launched the new Toyota Corolla Altis for the Indian market. The Toyota Corolla that was launched in Europe last year is actually the new Toyota Corolla Altis launched in India which sports a new non-conservative design with sharp looks. The unusual design is aimed at drawing more buyers for this car. The automakers have opted to give the car a sharp and smart look targeting young buyers in the Indian market.

The interior of the car is identical in design to that of the Toyota Corolla launched in Europe.

The only difference is that the steering wheel is placed on the right hand side. This car comes with a 1.8liter VVTi engine which makes 138bhp. The engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission. Some cars might come with a CVT with a 1.4litre D4-D diesel engine making 87bhp combined with a six-speed manual gear-box. Eager buyers will have to wait till May for the prices to be announced.
