If you happen to be waiting for the 2016 Honda Pilot to make its debut, well, there is good news for you. The car has already made its debut indeed at the Chicago Auto Show event. Since the car is now officially introduced, a number of images have hit the World Wide Web pages and all these images are fully revealing, to say the least.
The 3rd generation Honda Pilot is in fact a crossover that competes in the mid-size segment. It looks very fresh when compared to its predecessor. No longer featuring the utilitarian and bulky design, the car now features a front fascia that is seemingly inspired by the company’s CR-V. In addition to that, it also comes with a chrome front grille. This front grille also connects the newly designed headlamps of the vehicle through its topmost bar, making the car look all the more attractive. Then, just below the headlamps, customers can see a pair of fog lamps that are smaller than those of the outgoing Pilot model.
The car also comes with a sloping roofline as well as longer rear doors. The latter may as well indicate that the car is now bigger in dimension. As for the rear fascia, the car comes with attractively looking boomerang-style LED taillights, paired with a rather curvy rear window and a roof spoiler.
Stepping into the cabin of the vehicle, customers are to be greeted by a pretty large touchscreen infotainment system, USB support, Blu-ray player, a power outlet on the center console, a couple of sunroofs, black accents and also a multi-function steering wheel. The cabin also seems to offer a spacious legroom for the rear passengers.
The 2016 Honda Pilot is able to carry up to 8 people altogether. The car is produced by the Japanese automaker’s R&D in Ohio and Los Angeles, America.
