Bertone declared bankrupt

by SpeedLux

Bertone has entered bankruptcy proceedings since this year and has finally been declared bankrupt as a result of the corporate did not find a buyer or turn out a reputable business plan to keep them going.

According to Wards auto, Bertone accumulated €31 ($42.1 / £24.6) million value of debt in less than 5 years despite an uptick in business. It remains unclear what went wrong however workers told the publication concerning “horror stories and business-related disasters” throughout their tenure at the firm.

While there had been hope that an auto maker would come back to the rescue there does not seem to be a lot of left of the corporate apart from its land, buildings and automotive assortment which might solely be sold as ton as a result of it’s classified as an “historic national heritage” in Italy.
