Jaguar presents their new virtual windscreen (video)

Jaguar Land Rover has introduced their new Virtual windshield system that guarantees to boost driving on the road and track.

The system turns the whole windscreen into an enormous display by projected pictures onto it to focus on hazards, the regulation and navigation data. Jaguar goes on to mention the system may have track-oriented show to indicate a range of things including:

A ghost automobile of your automobile or another automobile from a previous lap
Virtual cones for driver coaching
Virtual sport lines to indicate you wherever to drive and once to brake
The company is additionally developing of a bunch of different systems together with a 3D instrument cluster, virtual rearview mirrors and a gesture system that may change users to regulate everything from the sunblinds to the rear wiper while not touching something.

According to Jaguar Land Rover Director of analysis and Technology Dr Wolfgang Epple, “We are functioning on analysis projects that may offer the driving force higher data to reinforce the driving expertise.”
