Camden ‘car attack’: Two Police officers placed on restricted duties

Two Met Police officers have actually been put on restricted tasks after social networks footage appeared to reveal a member of the force attacking an automobile.

The force validated a formal complaint was gotten in relation to the incident in Camden, north London, on Friday.

One officer was recorded striking a car windshield when the driver chose not to get out of the car.

The motorist, dropped in a case of incorrect identity, was not jailed.

A Met Authorities statement released earlier stated: “The footage continues to undergo an investigation by officers from the Directorate of Specialist Standards (DPS) and the driver of the automobile has actually been spoken to by these officers.

“The officers involved in the incident have been identified and have actually been put on restricted duties.”

The incident happened at 17:00 BST on Friday and was flowed on social media on Saturday.

Leon Fontana, 25, informed the Press Association he was the motorist and the individual who filmed the video footage.
