Porsche 911 Martini Racing Edition celebrates Le Mans comeback

After a 16 year absence Porsche is back this coming weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

To celebrate the return and to pay tribute to the successes of the legendary Porsche Le Mans race cars such as the 917 and the 935 “Moby Dick”, Porsche Exclusive has unveiled the “Martini Racing Edition” of the 911 Carrera S.

The special edition is limited to 80 units and will be exclusively sold in select markets of Europe, in China, Japan and in Latin America. This rare and very beautiful 911 won’t be available in the U.S. this time, but Porsche Tequipment will be selling the exclusive Martini decal set as an aftermarket kit in Germany and other markets for selected 911 models so visually you could also own an identical car.

The special Martini Racing Edition has the boot lid, roof section, rear wing and vehicle’s sides accentuated by the “Martini Racing Design” decor set with the characteristic blue-red Martini colour pattern.

The vehicle also comes with special front apron and fixed rear spoiler of the Aerokit Cup.

In addition to exterior updates, there are also stainless steel door sill panels with the red illuminated “911 Carrera S – Martini Racing Edition” badge, dashboard accents in body coloor with the “Martini Racing Edition” badge.

Power comes from a well known 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine with 400 hp, good for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.1 seconds with a PDK gearbox and activated Sport Plus button.Combined fuel economy is 8.7 liters per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 202 g/km.
