Porsche 918 Spyder Concept Study on display at the Porsche Museum

The 918 Spyder Concept model was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in its official debut. The model is now going to be displayed at the Museum of Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen from 1st October till the 7th.

A V8 engine is fitted on the 918 Spyder that provides a peak power output of 500 hp. Along with its three electric motors an additional power of 218 hp is also generated. CO2 emission rate is just 70 grams per kilometer and the fuel consumption rate is 3 liter for every 100 kilometer which translates to 94 mpg. Even though it has low fuel consumption the car has an acceleration factor of 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and attains a top speed of 198 mph. The car recorded a lap time of less than 7:30 at the Nordschleife of Nürburgring which is faster than a Porsche Carrera GT.
