Porsche Cayenne to be powered by new V6 and diesel engines

Porshce has announced that its new SUV would be available with the V6 engine and a new diesel engine version also. This comes along with its official release or sales of the Cayenne. The price of the Cayenne Diesel has been set at 59,596 euro in Germany.

The specifications of the new three liter V6 engine are quite impressive. It generates 240 hp and has the ability to accelerate from 0 – 62 mph in 7.8 seconds flat. The top speed of the car is 218 km/hr or 135 mph. The petrol version of the V6 on the other hand delivers 300 HP and has acceleration capability of 0 – 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. The top speed of the petrol driven car is 143 mph.

Otherwise the Cayenne has 18 inch wheels which is a standard fit it also has Lane Change Assistant and Adaptive Cruise Control and PDLS Porsche Dynamic Light System as optional fittings. The PDLS system is used for management of headlights.
