Porsche Panamera news!

by Adrian Hayden

The Porsche Panamera was already announced to be equipped with a hybrid engine, but now it has been announced that the Panamera will also have a plug-in hybrid variant. Mathias Muller, Porsche’s new CEO announced that they are also considering a turbocharged V8.

The PHEV hybrid was not built with the 3.6 liter V6. The car tested by Muller featured a 4.8 liter V8 engine which develops 500 HP, mated with a 34 kW electric engine. Muller also said that only 918 models will be produced
