JP1 supercar to enter production lines soon

An Australian, Melbourne based sports car manufacturer, Joss Developments has recently pronounced its partnership with an international renowned expert in automotive transmission viz. Albins. Both Albins and Joss have agreed to collaborate and develop a state-of-the-art gearbox and drive system their upcoming production of Joss JP1 sports car.

Joss Developments is Australia’s first ever dedicated sport car manufacture. Albins has the capacity to develop and manufacture cutting-edge transmission systems capable of handling high torque and power levels that can support heavy-duty applications such a racing car.

The JP1 had made its debut at Melbourne Motor Show in 2004 as JT1. It has a V8 engine that delivers over 500bhp power to this dream machine. JOSS JT1 has also been picked out to appear as one of the models in the latest version of Xbox computer game viz. Microsoft Forza 3. The most respected and desirable cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini in the Xbox game.

The production is expected to start soon and the first production lot is expected to produce 25 cars. JP1 is also planned for its participation in GT motor racing events and Le Mans. The JT1 has made its appearances in Xbox games Project Gotham Racing and Forza Motorsport.
