2 killed, 10 injured after car crashed into wedding party in Vancouver

Two people were killed and 10 others were injured following a vehicle crash in West Vancouver, Canada on Saturday.

The crash took place when a vehicle drove through the yard of a residence which was having a wedding party.

It was just after 6 p.m. PT when a woman in her 60s driving a vehicle on a shared driveway accelerated forward and struck multiple individuals who were attending the wedding.

Two people died in the crash.

It is not known as of yet how many attended the wedding.

11 ambulances and a helicopter rushed to the property at Keith Road and Keith Place.

Of 10 hospitalized, about five people were in stable condition, three were in serious condition and two were going through the critical condition.

The female driver of the vehicle is co-operating with police.

No charges have been levied as of yet.
