Two people were killed after a car crash in Pearl River County, Mississippi on Friday.
It was around 11:45 p.m. when officials responded to the crash on Highway 11.
It took place when a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Highway 11 and it left the roadway and struck a tree.
A 35-year-old identified as Gail Fontenot and a 29-year-old passenger identified as Jose Cardenas were killed in the crash.
Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
