U.S. tuner Elite has released final concept images of the 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Based on the Aston Martin Vantage it will see a limited production run of just 30 cars.
LMV/R is inspired by the the likes of Ferrari Scuderia, Ferrari Stradale and Lamborghini Superleggera.
According to Elite, it is built for the purists who want a race car for the street, a more nimble version of the production street car that they were built from.
Elite does not give any details about performance modifications. All we know that the car will be lighter than the stock Vantage thanks to carbon fiber body kit. Other highlights are: matte black 20-inch rims, lowering springs, big brake kit, sport muffler with tips, full Alcantara interior, carbon fiber interior kit.
All LMV/R’s will be assembled in Florida and will be based on 2010 Vantage’s. The package price will be around $173,000 plus the cost of a new Vantage.
Aston Martin Vantage already looks perfect, so it is hard to understand why would anyone pay close to $200,000 to upgrade their new Vantage.
