The American tuning company Renntech has decided to merge with one of the most luxury cars to come out of the U.K., the Bentley Continental Supersports , coming out with an absolutely impressive result.
A new performance program has been applied by Renntech to the British car, which includes a combination of an ECU remap and the addition of a new performance stainless steel exhaust system. Being one of the most big authorities in tuning Bosch and Siemans engine control units, Renntech has managed to improve considerably the car’s performance and response , due to the fact that the components previously mentioned were part of the Continental Supersports, without sabotaging the car’s noted reliability.
The Bentley’s engine specs were improved by the American tuning company by optimizing the air and fuel ratios, modifying the ignition timing and throttle mapping of the engine, increasing the engine’s rev limiter, and adjusting the boost mapping. The derivative is a 6.0-liter turbocharged W12 engine that saw its output increase from the standard 621 horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque all the way up to 710 horsepower and 680 lb/ft of torque.
After the experience Renntech has with brands like Mercedes, it has been able to prove their notoriety in dealing with high-end performance cars once again on the Bentley Continental Supersports.
