Evolution Motorsports is the tuning firm that has turned the Porsche 997 in its flat red new format and named it Mayhem. Located in the US, the firm is very well known for its ability to turn German make cars into ravishing beauties. Mayhem is their latest contribution in this aspect.
On first looks the base Porsche 997 model seems not to have been given any major shakes except for some carbon fiber additions. One would however on closer looks notice the sticker at the bottom of the doors that read “EVT 1500.” This number is the power that the car is capable of generating. Yes, that’s exactly 1500 ponies the car has on its tap though that’s depicted in the most understated manner with just the ‘EVT 1500’ sticker on the exterior revealing the car’s awesome capabilities. The tuning firm basically modified the existing 3.6 liter engine of the Porsche 997 to give it an added .4 liter of displacement and thus it became a 4.0 liter twin turbo H6 engine.
At the Texas Mile March 2011 event this tuned car became a star attraction in the process. There was a display of power by the car at the event when it went through a 234.6 mph display drive.
