2011 Porsche Panamera to now have an even higher standard of all-round efficiency

by Alex

Porsche has recently released a retooled version of the V8 engine Panamera models, which includes Panamera S, Panamera 4S & Panamera Turbo. The new Panamera is largely efficient and comes with pre-installed brake energy recuperation system. The brake energy recuperation enables battery charging when brakes are applied and during overruns.

You may opt for a reduced roll resistant set of 19-inch all-season tires.  You may also opt for Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) coupled with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC). These improvements have reduced the fuel consumption of a 500 hp Panamera Turbo by over 0.9 liters/100km and reduced CO2 emission by about 21 gms/km.

The combined driving cycle fuel consumption offered by new Porsche Panamera Turbo is 20.8 mpg (12.2 liters / 100 km, by Panamera 4S is 22.8 mpg (10.3 liters / 100 km) and by Panamera 4S is 22.2 mpg (10.6 liters / 100 km). Therefore, there is 0.51/100 KM and 11 g/100KM CO2 emission reduction.

Auto Start Stop function, enables the driver to start again substantially faster after a complete halt. The V8 engines Porsche Panamera cars also come with a fully controlled rear axle differential lock. Thus the new all-round efficient 2011 Porsche Panamera would certainly be loved by everyone.
