The head-turning design of the 2012 BMW 335i 4 door sedan isn’t the only thing that’s great about this car. Performances provided by the turbocharged engine with 6 inline cylinders, which provide 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque are the other strong point of this vehicle.
The 335i goes from 0 to 60 in 5.4 seconds, and hits a top speed of 155 mph, which isn’t bad at all for a four door saloon. The standard transmission is the 6 speed manual, but the buyer can also opt for the 8 speed automatic. The 335i features a rear wheel drive and ventilated brakes to avoid overheating. The manual transmission allows a fuel consumption of 29 mpg, and the automatic one, 32 mpg, which are both respectable for this kind of engine and weight of the car.
The exterior design suggests simultaneously a dynamic and sporty behavior of this vehicle and the luxury and comfort it provides. This new generation is longer, wider, and the cabin is larger than the one of its predecessor.
The other two versions of the 335i are the Luxury Line and Modern Line.
Released in 2011, this car costs about $45,000, $10,000 more expensive than the 328i, released at the same time.
