Mercedes’ 2012 C350 4Matic is an upgrade from the standard C350 and comes with the company’s all-wheel drive. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, this Mercedes can sprint to 60 in just 5.9 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 130 mph. The transmission is a 7-speed automatic that saves weight, this model being 100 pounds lighter than the previous one.
The interior is a true Mercedes. Attractive and comfortable seats come with double contrasting stitching, attractive pleating and a chrome handle. They also get excellent heating. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped and has an ergonomic shape. It is perfect for both a sporty driver and a dryer one.
The drivetrain splits power in a 45/55 ratio as a default. This ratio can go up to 30/70 in either direction. The 4ETS traction control hardware automatically calculates which wheels have a better grip and sends power to them. Other technologies, like the ESP (which can be turned off) are present to assist both an inexperienced driver and an experienced one.
Fuel consumption is 20 mpg city, and 29 mpg highway. There are two passenger seats in the back, and the cargo is 11.7 cu-ft. As you might have expected, the C350 4Matic is a two door car.
Other car manufacturers like Audi or BMW also have competitors for this car. Audi’s A5 is less powerful, but gets almost the same performance, while the BMW is a bit more expensive, but has a better fuel consumption.
Standard price starts at $45,245.
