2012 Nissan GT-R Launch Control video

by Alex

Nissan has decided to put the Launch Control system on offer again this time time around with their launch of the much awaited 2010 GT R. Now what this amazing piece adds to the car is that it makes the car capable of racing off to a speed of 60 mph from rest in a matter of just 2.9 seconds. To know how good it is, you must know that the world’s fastest legal street car does it in 2.7 seconds. But in this brand new model the feature has been renamed as R-Mode Start Function.

For the sake of the customers and letting people know how well they have done it, they have also released how to use the Launch Control system. To use it the driver has to first move the shift lever to the A or M position. Then he has to select the R mode with the transmission setup switch. Next he has to select the R mode with the VDC setup switch. Then he has to depress the brake pedal firmly with his left foot and keep on depressing the brake pedal and then in turn he has to depress the accelerator pedal quickly to the maximum with his right foot. Now, while the brake pedal is depressed the engine speed will take off to a flier reaching approximately a rotation speed of 4,000 rpm. Finally, within 3 seconds of depressing the accelerator pedal, he has to release the brake pedal. This is the official way of getting the best out of the car. With this kind of RPM many auto lovers are going to go gaga over the car. And we don’t doubt a car from Nissan.
