2013 Mercedes-Benz CLA will debut in Detroit

by SpeedLux

For the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, German based automakers, Mercedes is planning to introduce the all new Mercedes-Benz CLA.

Making a grand entry into the automotive world as a concept car, Mercedes Benz CLA will be officially presented to the public in its final production form during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, early next year. The model will be a entry-level sedan which will be targeted at the four-door versions of the BMW 1-Series and Audi A3. The new model will be inspired from the CLS class, which will get a sloppy roof line, giving it a striking look of a Four-Door coupe. The Petrol engine line-up is expected to include the CLA 180 which produces 115 HP (85 kW), the CLA 200 with 156 HP (115 kW) and the CLA 250, with its 211 HP (155 kW), and as for the Diesel engines, the line-up may consist of CLA 180 CDI with 109 HP (80 kW), the CLA 200 CDI with 136 HP (100 kW) and the CLA 220 CDI with 170 HP (125 kW).

As of now the information is very limited, but we assure you that additional details on the final production version of the CLA will be posted once when it will be launched.
