The first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible has been sold for a handsome price of around $1 million at at the recent Barret-Jackson Palm beach auction.

NASCAR team owner and founder of the Hendrick Automotive Group, Rick Hendrick was the one who had done the highest bidding of the car in the auction which was around $1 million and the keys of the first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible have been handed over to him.

Rick Hendrick had earlier this year also paid $1 million to acquire the very first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe which means that his total layouts on the brand new Corvette total almost $2.1 million.

The good thing is that all the money raised in the auction would be given to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
