The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C Class has been photographed secretly without actual body colour.
The espionage activity shows what could be the CLS-inspired headlights which will possibly be wider and positioned above than they are on the current model. The headlights go all the way round from the front end to the side panels to give the car a juicy look. The grille in the new model seems to be of oval shape.
Based on the MRA platform, the 2014 C-Class is likely to be 100mm longer with a measurement of about 4700 mm in length. As a result of this changes the wheelbase will be 80 mm longer and will stand at 2820 mm. The new C-Class is expected to be lighter as the entry-level sedan could weigh lower than 3,042 pounds (1,380 kg).
Engine specifications will consist of four-cylinder and V6 vertically mounted engines, giving an output from around 184 hp (137 kW) to 330 hp (246 kW). A hybrid version with a 27 hp (20 kW) electric motor is also on the cards, as well as the AMG model with a 4.0 or 5.5-litre V8 engine.
For the time being we have only the engine specifications with us, whereas the car performance and features are yet to be known.
