Three people were killed after a crash on Chicago‘s Far South Side, which is being blamed on drag racing.
The crash took place when the vehicle carrying three people struck the Grand Motel in the 12000 block of South Halsted Street located in the Washington Heights neighborhood.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m.
The Chicago Fire Department attempted to put out the flames.
Once the fire was under control, they found three victims inside.
All of them were pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
The identities of the victims were not released yet.
