3 dead, 1 injured after crashes on Arkansas roads

Three people were killed and one person was injured on Arkansas roads on Thursday night and early Saturday.

Jorgia Cole, 18, of Edgerton, was killed about 6:35 p.m. after a 2005 GMC Sierra she was a passenger in was hit from the rear by another vehicle on Interstate 49 in rural Washington County.

Cole and the driver, Stewart Sayward, 28, of Wesley, were both taken out of the vehicle. Sayward was admitted to a Tulsa hospital for treatment.

Arkansas State Police investigated the crash.
