Toronto police found a woman they state was struck by an automobile and then dragged into another automobile by a group of men early on Friday morning.
“I heard a great deal of shouting at, like, 2:15 in the morning and I unlocked and I heard a lady and some guys shouting,” one witness informed CTV Toronto. “They sounded panicky.”
Authorities say witnesses and monitoring video reveal a female and a man parked in a white SUV outside a building in an east end Toronto neighborhood arguing with each other at around 2:30 a.m. on Friday.
The woman then climbed out and 2 other vehicles pulled up.
“After arguing in the vehicle, the lady is then seen standing in front of the dark sedan,” Toronto Police Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook stated.
“That sedan then strikes her and she falls to the ground.”
Three men presumably picked the woman up and put her in the back of a silver sedan and drove off.
Toronto authorities inspected a numerous hospitals however nobody matching the woman’s description had been brought into the emergency room.
Cops said the woman was located Friday afternoon, however had yet to be questioned about what occurred.
Douglas-Cook stated investigators have no reason to believe that the event was pre-meditated.
“Ideally this is simply an isolated scenario,” she stated.
